Always being aware of your environment
I suppose one could say years of being in dysfunction gave me a significant amount of insight on this very subject. It is having removed myself from the familiar that I came to truly understand self. I guess when you change those that you associate yourself with, that are not moving in a positive direction, you come to realize how they can affect your mind. Monkey mind is the not knowing how the mind works. I love my family, but monkey mind is money mind. Not good for my mindset at all.
Your normal pattern of thinking tends to change as you grow an cultivate your abilities. You grow each day if you focus on something that increases your knowledge. You can take even the smallest thing and learn something. Even if its the way someone continues to display sexually aggressive behavior. Take for instance being in a women's shelter. Many of the women have been incarcerated and have been subjected to rape or trauma. They project this same behavior off on others. They believe in their own minds, that forcing things upon someone else, is the way to get ahead. This would in fact be wrong.
I have also encountered those that study the wrong religious doctrine. They believe projecting negative energy off on others will get them what they want. Energy is like a reflective mirror. The energy you put out, will be returned unto you. You reap what you sow. Project positive energy and it shall be returned. Not saying my doctrine is the right one, but it is right for me. It also allows for you to cultivate a positive character. Your character is what dictates the future you will have. Good intentions are everything with regard to life. Always remember that!

What is Perfection?
Perfection is Loving
Despite what your mind says
It's not being angry
When things go through your head
It's doing that which
You don't want to do
When your heart says stop
But your mind tells you to
It's not being perfect
When every one else says
That thing ain't right
Do this instead
It's loving a man
One that will love you
It's giving of yourself
When they're not good for you
What is this thing we call Perfection?

Five Ingredients For a Better Brain
- Turmeric is an Indian plant commonly consumed as a dietary spice in curry-rich foods and is rich in curcumin. Studies have shown that curcumin can help slow cognitive decline by reducing oxidative stress in the brain (2). Another recent study found that curcumin also helps alleviate muscle soreness in athletes (3).
- Piperine is a bio-enhancer. This means that it promotes the bioavailability of certain bioactive compounds. For example, studies have shown that supplementing with piperine, along with curcumin and resveratrol, significantly enhanced their bioavailability (4, 5).
- R-alpha-lipoic acid is an antioxidant that has the ability to penetrate the blood-brain barrier and protect against oxidative stress in the brain. It also helps improve mitochondrial function, allowing cells to better make use of ATP energy (6, 7).
- Acetylcarnitine is often paired with R-alpha-lipoic acid and have been shown to work together in supporting brain health. On its own, however, acetylcarnitine is also shown to support better mood and improve memory in laboratory animals (8, 9).
- Citicoline is the precursor of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, which is necessary for the communication between brain cells. This compound is also a potent neuroprotectant, meaning that it’s protective of brain cells (10).

Solar Plexus Chakra
The Solar Plexus Chakra Manipura or manipuraka is symbolised by a downward pointing triangle with ten petals. The seed syllable is Ram, and the presiding deity is Braddha Rudra, with Lakini as the Shakti. Manipura is related to the metabolic and digestive systems. Manipura is believed to correspond to Islets of Langerhans, which are groups of cells in the pancreas, as well as the outer adrenal glands and the adrenal cortex. These play a valuable role in digestion, the conversion of food matter into energy for the body. The colour that corresponds to Manipura is yellow. Key issues governed by Manipura are issues of personal power, fear, anxiety, opinion-formation, introversion, and transition from simple or base emotions to complex. Physically, Manipura governs digestion, mentally it governs personal power, emotionally it governs expansiveness, and spiritually, all matters of growth. In Tibetan buddhism, this wheel is represented as a triangle with 64 upward pointing petals. It is the home of the Red drop, or red bodhicitta, which is the essence of feminine energy (as opposed to the Shakta system, where the kundalini energy resides in Muladhara). It contains the seed syllable short-Ah, which is of primary importance in the Tummo inner fire meditation, which is the system by which the energy of the red drop is raised to the white drop in the crown.
