What is Perfection?

Perfection is Loving
Despite what your mind says
It's not being angry
When things go through your head

It's doing that which
You don't want to do
When your heart says stop
But your mind tells you to

It's not being perfect
When every one else says
That thing ain't right
Do this instead

It's loving a man
One that will love you
It's giving of yourself
When they're not good for you

What is this thing we call Perfection?

Butterflies

I see a silhouette of you
Walking through my mind
Everywhere I turn
You give me butterflies

Try to think of other things
No matter what I do
The day seems to bring me
Right there back to you

Frequently I travel
While you're no where in sight
My senses always tell me
Engage in fight or flight

You opened up my mind
Now I know you're real
The butterfly effect
Let's me know just how to feel

Best in Life

Your journey in life
There will be hella tests
The lessons you learn
You become your best

Many people you meet
Maybe there for you
You rise above
You can make it through

Always go inside
That's where you possess your dreams
When you look around
Are things as they seem

You live and learn
Always seek to grow
Before you know it
All good things start to show
