What Do You Believe?

It's important to truly know what you believe. I have found, through my experience there are many truths in life. I once only believed in my bible; but now I find there is truth in many things. I believe some of the things I have always been taught, however I have experienced things in various realms. The bible was written by man and capable of being flawed in some information.

Much of the information is true, yes, but there are things that should have been included, that were purposely excluded with the intent of not allowing people to know the whole truth. If something causes your senses to become heightened, that is a revelation of truth. To walk around on any given day, with a blissful and euphoric state of mind is walking in your truth. Your essence is in harmony with the universe. Smile for no reason and don't give a shit who likes it, BE YOURSELF!

To wake up one morning with unlimited knowledge; was somewhat perplexing. I came to understand things, that I had never thought of before. I find that was when I was in harmony with the life I was created to live. Things come easier for me, when I am walking in my truth. The things you are created to do, flow freely. You will attract those that are in sync with the life you should live. They will also encourage the best you to emerge.

I leaped out on faith and traveled, without money in my pocket. Who does that? Each time I have done this, I have been provided for. You meet people for a reason, season or lifetime. Every time you meet someone, it is not for all to remain. Some come to help you in your journey, to take you to the next level. I have a desire to travel, but now I do so with plans, purpose, goals and intentions set in place. I truly believe, but I use my energy to build the life I desire now.

I also find that forgiving those who have wronged me, releases my power. To carry on hatred for ignorance, prevents you from reaching your full potential. Most times people do not know anymore, than what they have seen and been taught. Culture, upbringing and the people you surround yourself with, plays a role in how you live your life and treat others. There is good and bad in everyone.

The natural man is in constant conflict with the spiritual man. If you believe in God, then the Spirit and the power you possess comes from within.The power to persevere, overcome obstacles, forgive, love, teach and live the life you desire. As I learn more about what he has revealed to me, I am compelled to share it with others. That is my purpose!

Character is the mental and moral qualities distinctive to an individual. I have tried to change myself, to conform to the expectations of society. I found that I am who I am. Perfected some time ago, not of my own volition. It was not me, but he that lives within me that made the changes. I still become amazed many days, how I have changed. It's not LaTrice, but Jesus.

I once thought people would think I was trying to be a goody two shoes or would not accept me, but I don't care. They hated Jesus and he was perfect. It's not me that anyone dislikes, but the spirit that lives inside and it reveals to another the lack of something within their being. Am I Perfect? NO! Not trying to be. Trying to be a better Trice.....

I found that when I share the revelations given to me, I am in a constant state of bliss. I refuse to attend seminary to speak on the profound knowledge I possess. After all, God gives us divine knowledge and allows us to speak, minister and teach according to his riches and glory...He started it and will complete the work he has begun....

My book "The Memoir of A Beautiful Woman", will be complete by next month. Writing a book of poetry, a book on overcoming abuse and a living testimony, in addition to work can keep one busy. One thing I know for sure. I am no longer a Victim, but Victorious in my journey in life! The wisest thing I know, is that I never claim to have apprehended this knowledge. If I was smart, I would have walked in this light long ago.

I know that everyone wants to be accepted and liked. If people don't like you, by no fault of your own, that is the Definition of a Hater!!!Don't be shame of being different. You were not created to be like everyone else, but different. Even if you stand out like a sore thumb, that is better than being like everyone else. Be Happy, Be Confident, Be YOU!

Claim your power and operate in it!!!!!!! When you do this, you have been awakened and enlightened!

The Importance of a Living Will

A living will serves many purposes. It is a written statement detailing a person's desires regarding their medical treatment in circumstances in which they are no longer able to express informed consent, especially an advance directive. 

A written document that allows a patient to give explicit instructions about medical treatment to be administered 

when the patient is terminally ill or permanently unconscious; also called an advance directive.

With improvements in modern medicine, the life of persons who are terminally ill or permanently unconscious can be prolonged. For increasing numbers of persons, the decision of whether to prolong life is being made in the form of a written document called a living will. The

living will is one type of advance directive that may be used by a person before incapacitation to outline a full range of treatment preferences or, most often, to reject treatment.

A living will extends the principle of consent, whereby patients must agree to any medical intervention before doctors can proceed. It allows the patient to guide health care for the future when she may be too ill to make decisions concerning care. It can be revoked by the patient at any time. For 

many the living will preserves personal control and eases the decision-making burden of a family.

Forty-two states and the District of Columbia have living-will statutes that make a properly executed living will legally binding. In states that do not have a 

statute, living wills stand as a clear expression of the patient's wishes. Living-will statutes require that the person be legally competent to execute the will and that the will be  witnessed by at least one disinterested person. Once a person who has a valid living will is terminally ill, the attending 

physician and a second physician must certify in writing that there is no reasonable expectation for improvement in the patient's condition and that death will occur as a result of the incurable disease, 

illness, or injury.

Upon this certification the doctor is obligated to follow the instructions contained in the living will. This typically 

means the patient does not want any medical procedures that serve only to prolong but not prevent the dying process. Therefore, if the patient is unable to breathe, the doctor is not 

required to connect the patient to a respirator. A patient may state in a living will that he does not want a feeding tube if unable to swallow food. Another common 

directive is to forbid resuscitation if the patient's heart stops beating.

Living wills have been criticized because they are usually limited to the withholding or withdrawing of "life-sustaining" procedures from a patient with a "terminal condition" or "terminal illness," and thus do not accurately reflect the broad legal right to refuse treatment. In addition, by  their very nature, living wills reduce the patient's wishes to writing, and thus may be too rigid (or too vague) to adapt to changing interests or anticipate future circumstances.

To overcome these problems, many states have enacted statutes that permit a competent adult to 

designate a surrogate decision maker (also termed a health care proxy or agent)  to make health care decisions for her in the event of incapacitation. The proxy's authority is usually not limited to 

decisions about life-sustaining treatment. A proxy can supplement a living will.

All fifty states have durable-power-of-attorney statutes that permit an individual (the principal) to designate another person (the attorney in fact) to perform specific tasks during any period of incapacity. Though most of these statutes do not expressly refer to medical care decisions, no court has ruled that

 they preclude the delegation of medical decision-making authority to the attorney in fact.
