Choosing What's Right

I find many days we are each faced with hard decisions. I was recently faced with something, where I had to choose what was right over what was convenient. It would have accommodated my needs to be devious and deceitful. I chose to be better than that. It is in having an enormous amount of knowledge that I chose to be responsible and honest.

They say honest people finish last, but to who much is given much is required. When you are in possession of something special, it is for you to use those things in a responsible manner. I could just as easily play games and play with someone's emotions, but what will that accomplish? Karma is real. I better understand why there are so many women that face domestic violence.

I am a woman and I do not believe in hitting a woman. I also think it is for us as women to grow up and act responsibly. Some men have probably had domestic violence issues, but we also must accept responsibility for our part in this as well. You do not play with a person's emotions, just because you can. I am probably one of the most fair people I know.

I will not say that life is easy or that doing whats right is easy, but it is in acting honestly that you grow. Many of us go through things that make life uncomfortable. I can recall many days I would sit and ponder ways to make life easier, by doing wrong to others. This is how I can rightly judge situations, because I have been that person too.

Something within us must change, for us to strive to be, do and have better in life. Always weigh your options. Taking to higher road might not be easier, but I guarantee karma will not bite you on the ass as hard.

In the meantime, get your mind right!
