I grew past the hurt
I overcame my pain
Once beaten and unprotected
Thank God I'm not insane
Far few in between
My feelings so true
Distinction in ties
Blood flows through
DNA makes you bound
Family still remains
Untainted by deceit
Love yet still is gained
Forgive to be forgiven
Reality first starts with you
Don't run from hated
Face it see it through
Filled in a room
Never feeling the love
Family ties to be broken
These do come from above
Walk through your journey
No day filled eternal bliss
One thing I know
When no longer there
