Do You Evaluate The Variables In Your Life and Relationships?

There are many possibilities and variables in our daily lives. When negative people provoke your emotions, be cautious of your thoughts. Many times, I find it is done to take focus off your goals and dreams. When you learn to pay attention to how you feel and what emotions are stirred up around others; you can control your responses.

I use my family history and negative experiences, not to play a victim but to help others. I can remember many bad experiences and abusive situations from the age of five. Many years I was a victim and didn't understand why I was self destructive and made decisions, not in my best interest.
I use those things to help others now.

We suppress bad things in life, unaware. The unconscious things that hold us captive within, shape our lives. We must take the time to think and search from within our selves. It sounds like a cliche, but true. You then come to understand any problems you have with anger. You deserve to be happy.

Each experience and obstacle you have overcome, was an event in time that helped you to arrive to your present. The moment you begin to think differently and focus on a happier and mentally healthy you, will things within your family life start to change. You are the first piece of the puzzle, that must be strategically placed, to change the picture.

Think of something or a time in your life that you were happiest. Keep that thought in your mind and revisit that place, when you are feeling down. That is your happy place. That is your escape when ever you need to. You will find when you go to this place, nothing can affect your mood. Even if things are bad around you, this place is your safe haven,

Being in touch with the way you feel, can also maintain your health. Your level of healthiness is under the control of your emotional state. If you internalize your emotions or hold things in that are uncomfortable for you; it causes illness within the body. You must learn to express yourself and release tension.

Many people don't take the time to exercise or incorporate a healthy diet into their lives. Culture is the biggest factor that contributes to the way we live our lives. Growing up as an African American, I see how unhealthy we tend to eat and deny our bodies of what it needs. We should take the time to love ourselves more.

Mind, body and soul are truly a unified mechanism that operates as a whole. You don't have to be a spiritual being or even religious to realize this. Pay closer attention to what you think and how you feel. You will then start to notice small or even significant changes in your surroundings. That is self love. Feel good.

Till next time.
